A United Kingdom-based Nigerian activist, Adetutu Balogun has called out celebrity musician, Peter Okoye (Mr P) over his post on national unity that was made hours ago on Sunday, February 14th, 2021 via his official twitter account.
Peter Okoye and his twin brother Paul Okoye, has both been experiencing a strained relationship, which was obviously why they broke the "Psquare" music group years ago, and now Adetutu Balogun has called Peter out after what he wrote on twitter.
Peter and Paul Okoye has been experiencing a strained relationship with each other for some time
Hours ago, Peter Okoye had posted on twitter about being an Igbo man who got married to a Yoruba lady. He also wrote about growing up, schooling and starting up his music career in the Northern part of Nigeria, which is why he now speaks Hausa fluently. He spoke against tribalism, ethnicity and racism, calling for an end to be put to it.
However, Adetutu Balogun did not buy his advice, calling on the music star to first put his house in order.
Adetutu Balogun, Uk-based activist calls on Peter Okoye to first reconcile with his twin brother before preaching on unity.
Seeing what Adetutu has said above, do you think she is right about asking the musician to reconcile with his brother first before having the moral authority to peach on unity, or do you agree that Peter Okoye has said the right thing no matter if he is guilty of similar offence or not?
