“You are an illiterate if you mock anyone for sounding like an Igbo, Hausa or Yoruba” – Singer Paul Okoye

 

Paul Okoye just took a swipe at folks who are quick to berate others for having a Nigerian accent.

The singer referred to these group of people as illiterates, noting that their feeling of superiority on speaking English without a Nigerian accent is no prize and doesn’t equal intelligence.
