Actor, Yul Edochie inside a coffin following the purported banning of ritual scenes in Nigeria movies(Video)

Popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has been sighted lying inside a casket on set for movie production, speaking out that the movie is a romance and not a ritual-based movie.

This statement is made as a result of the viral claims that the movie industry is fueling ritual killings in Nigeria. Many believed that the high rate of blood money is triggered by what they watch in Nigerian movies.

However, the actor who mostly features as an occult member in movies has taken to his Instagram page to share a snippet of a movie that is currently undergoing production.

In the clip, Edochie could be seen inside an opened coffin as he prepares for shooting.

It appears that he is yet again playing the role of a ritualist as it is what caskets mostly signify in Nollywood films and his presence alone in the movie will leave one without having a double thought.

The actor who already knew what the public will label his role in the movie jokingly stated that the movie should not be seen as a ritual-based film.

He also added that the movie is romantic fiction and his purpose of lying inside the coffin was to propose to a girl whom he loved as directed by the movie director.

In his words. Edichie said;

“They said we should stop producing ritual movies. This one is not a ritual film before you guys will go and report me. It is a romance film. A love film, I have to lie inside the coffin to propose to my girlfriend.”
