Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy, has paid a courtesy visit to the United Nations headquarters in New York, USA.
The Grammy winner is in the United States for a show at the Madison Square Garden, but ahead of the concert he has been visiting some notable sights in the city.
Burna Boy met the UN Deputy Secretary-General, Amina J Mohammed, who was Nigeria’s former Minister of Environment.
Mohammed welcomed the musician who was accompanied by his mum, Bose Ogulu and they went on a tour of the UN office.
A video which was posted online also shows Burna putting on a musical performance for his host while holding onto a Nigerian flag.
Sharing photos, the UN Deputy Sec-Gen wrote;
‘‘I had the opportunity to welcome my compatriot @burnaboygram here at the @unitednations HQ. Burna continues to inspire young people around the world with his amazing talents.”
