Cubana Chief Priest Arrested By EFCC Over Alleged Money Laundering And Tax Fraud.

 

Nigerian socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, well known as Cubana Chief Priest has reportedly been picked up by The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Nigeria for allegedly laundering of money and tax fraud.

According to reports, the commission arrested him at the Lagos airport on Thursday, but the officials of the commission has remained silent on the issue due to pressure from his associates and family of Mr Pascal.

Upon his arrest, the anti-graft agency denied Okechukwu the right to reply to his fans who had wished him happy birthday online.

Another source also reveals that the commission only permitted his wife to see him as they are yet to release a statement on the arrest of the businessman.
