He doesn’t brag – Fans hail Flavour as he reportedly gets N1.2bn for his biopic on Amazon Prime

Emerging reports suggest that Amazon Prime is set to kick off production of a documentary for Nigerian highlife singer, Chinedu Okolie also known as Flavour.

Though the music star did not announce this on any of his social media platforms, it was gathered that he received the sum of $3million (N1.2bn) as down payment from Amazon Prime video.

Fans chose to blow Favour’s trumpet online following his decision to keep major achievements lowkey.

A Twitter user wrote; “A Nigerian musician received $3m as advance payment for his biopic on Amazon Prime. Guess who the musician is?”.

Another said; ”Chinedu Okoli, @2niteFlavour is officially the FIRST AFRICAN to receive $3m as advance payment for his biopic on Amazon Prime. Emphasis on FIRST. I hate that Flavour doesn’t make noise about his numerous wins. An average Nigerian artist would have erected billboard on IG. 💀”

In reaction, fans of the singer hailed him on social media.

Uche P Okoye; I knew all along. Flavor us booked till 2026.

Yom; Those getting it more than Flavor in the industry as a while no pass 2

James; Na we gats brag for am. Man ain’t ready to say shit about his success.
