Amid the uproar surrounding one of Burna Boy’s five police escort reportedly shooting a man, a throwback video of Wizkid being protected by a team of heavily armed security escort has surfaced.
Recall that over the weekend, a man landed in the hospital after allegedly being shot by Burna’s escort when he accosted the singer for making advances at his wife.
As a result of the incident, Nigerians questioned police authorities for assigning five officers to a private individual (Burna).
This also led to social media users digging up an old video of police officers and NSCDC personnel guarding Wizkid as he stepped out of an event, in a bid to show that it has always been a practice for personalities to be followed by security officers.
A crowd was swarming the superstar singer and hailing him but his heavily armed escort prevented them from getting too close.
