Nigerian singer, Tems has given fans, Nigerians, and Africans another reason to be proud of her.
The Damages singer just made history by becoming the First African Artist to receive 3 nominations in a single Edition of the BET Awards as she has been nominated for ‘Best Collaboration, Best International Act, and Best New Artist’.
Surprisingly, the singer beat Wizkid who was nominated for two categories; Best R&B and Best Collaboration for Essence remix.
Also, YBNL singer Fireboy bagged a nomination for the ‘Best International Act’ alongside Tems.
The 2022 BET Awards will be hosted by Taraji P. Henson and will air on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
