Wizkid sets new records on the Billboard charts.

 


Wizkid has broken the US recorded two colossal milestones on the official music chart, Billboard.

After nine months of release, “Essence” debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 82 and enjoyed an impressive run which saw it peak at number 9, making it the only Nigerian record ever to break into the Billboard Hot 100 top 10.The US music chart platform recently announced Big Wiz’s global hit “Essence” which features Tems as the longest-charting African song.


Star boy’s fourth studio album “Made In Lagos” was also announced the longest-charting African album as it has spent over 67 weeks on the Billboard world albums chart.

Altogether, the two feats make the Grammy-winning singer, the longest-charting African artiste on Billboard.
